Yearly agenda for training mileage with
Training Studio Multisport

Running: (Every Saturday morning @ 7:00am,
                starting January 6th)
  1. January – May = Mild to moderate progression building towards the Kentucky Derby mini marathon
  2. May – June = Maintaining a base mileage of 10-15 miles
  3. July – October = Moderate progression building towards a fall marathon (Columbus for 2007)

Cycling: (Times & meeting places will be communicated
               via email newsletter)

  1. January – April = Mild to moderate progression towards Half marathon distance (56 miles).
  2. May – August = Moderate progression towards Ironman distance (112 miles)
  3. September – December = Maintaining base mileage of 25-40 miles

Swimming: (Times & meeting places will be communicated
                    via email newsletter)
1. Various number of drills and/or distance sets based on ability level

Remember these are only guidelines that are being used to structure mileage for our group workouts. That doesn’t mean that all members are locked into any certain distance. We invite everyone to join us, regardless of mileage stipulations or ability levels. We can give guidance on where to turn back if the mileage is too long or how to add more mileage if our training is too short. Our ride and run captains will make sure that no one gets left behind or lost in the process.

Mission: The mission of Training Studio Multisport is to build support for the running, cycling and swimming community in the Metro Louisville area, to promote the unique concept of team camaraderie through multisport, and to teach the members that total health and fitness is a lifestyle and state of mind, not just a hobby. The team provides information, motivation, training support and social activities for athletes of all ages and abilities.
