Ok everybody,
We are getting close to the big day. Here are the SCHEDULES for your viewing pleasure. To help you understand your schedule and various pacing recommendations, here are the SCHEDULE GUIDELINES. The SCHEDULES link contains three different schedules based on previous experience and ability level. Here are some general guidelines for choosing the correct schedule. The beginner schedule is for those recreational runners/walkers or couch potatoes that have never completed a mini marathon. The intermediate schedule is for those seasoned veterans that are trying to get a little faster, but don’t want the additional time commitment involved with the advanced schedule. The advanced schedule is also for seasoned veterans, but for those that are striving for a very specific time goal.
Week one of your schedule begins January 4th. This means that when you arrive for the first LONG RUN/WALK on Saturday, January 9th, you should already have a week of training under your belt.
Please arrive no later than 7:45 am so you have time to find your pace group and meet your group leaders. This will also give you time to get your last minute questions answered before we head out for our first run/walk.
Look forward to seeing you on the 9th.
Dale
