One method, seven ways in

Everything here is built on the same idea: functional strength, coached properly, in a room small enough that someone notices what you’re doing. What changes between programs is how much attention is on you, and how much you pay for it.

Pick the room that fits

Most people start with a free consultation, then Kickstart. You do not have to, but it is the shortest route to training safely. Filter by how much of the coach you want.

The on-ramp · 30 days

Kickstart

Eight private half-hour sessions across four weeks, one-on-one with a coach who is assigned to you. You learn the movements our programs are built on (body-weight work, rowing form, kettlebells, TRX, the basics of plyometrics and Olympic lifts) before you ever step into a class.

You also get a membership to both studios while you’re in it, limited to the beginner-friendly class types. It is the recommended starting point for Get Fit & Stay Fit and for Premiere, and most people take it.

The core membership

Get Fit & Stay Fit

Build strength, move better, live stronger. Total-body strength work that challenges you without crushing you: squats, pushes, pulls, carries, and the mobility work that keeps you doing them. Twenty-plus sessions a week across both studios, and your membership covers all of them.

Every session is coached and capped at twelve people, so form gets corrected in the moment rather than after an injury. Scalable to any level, though we do recommend some prior strength-training experience, or Kickstart first.

Semi-private · three to six people

Premiere Coaching

A small group, a shared goal, and programming written for that group rather than for a room. Three to six people, so the coach can watch every rep and adjust for the shoulder that doesn’t go overhead or the knee that’s six months post-op.

Membership includes two Fit3D scans and eight Get Fit & Stay Fit sessions every month. Placement depends on schedule and fit, so it starts with a conversation. We recommend completing Kickstart first. A postpartum-only group runs inside Premiere too.

Executive Coaching

Just you and a coach for 55 minutes: a warm-up, a strength or cardio block, and a proper cool-down and stretch. The programme is written around your goals and your limitations, and your nutrition is tracked alongside your training rather than left to you.

Most members on a recurring plan also get eight Get Fit & Stay Fit sessions and two Fit3D scans every month. Single sessions are available for people who only want a periodic check on their form, and you can bring a partner for $60 a session.

Seasonal · Saturdays, January to April

Running Club

Every Saturday morning from January through late April, training toward the Kentucky Derby Festival mini marathon. Walkers to elite runners: the whole point is that the group has room for both.

Routes come with digitised maps through the RUNGO app plus arrows on the course and water stations along the way, so you can run it on a smartwatch or the old-fashioned way. Places are capped at fifty.

Progress you can actually see

Fit3D Body Scanning

A contactless 3D scan that takes under sixty seconds. Within five minutes you and your coach have a report covering weight, body composition, body-fat percentage, measurements, posture and balance, plus a 3D avatar and a Comparison Overlay that shows exactly how your body has changed since the last one.

It is included free with every active monthly membership, twice a month. We recommend scanning monthly: it is the difference between thinking something is working and knowing it is.

Nutrition Coaching

Dale Benedict founded The Training Studio in 1996 and holds Precision Nutrition Level 1 alongside his ACE certification. He still coaches several sessions a week, which means the person advising you on food has watched you train.

A one-hour consult covers your questions and produces a Precision Nutrition work-up you can actually follow. Several of our other coaches hold Precision Nutrition Level 1 as well, so nutrition comes up on the floor, not just in an appointment.

Pick astartingpoint

Not sure which program fits? A free consultation settles it in thirty minutes, and Kickstart is the usual first step.

How it starts

  1. Reach out. Book a free thirty-minute consultation at whichever studio is closer.
  2. We map it. A coach asks what you’re after and recommends a first session, or four weeks of Kickstart.
  3. Train for real. Coached, capped at twelve, scaled to you. Then you decide.
